Practice, not product theater
Soleilx began as Art Notes on X: one careful look at a verified public-domain painting, written without hype. The light site exists so those notes can breathe — longer captions, a stable link for sharing, and a taste quiz that stays in the language of galleries rather than clinics. We care about cream paper, espresso ink, and contrast that remains readable on a phone in daylight. We care less about growth hacks.
The Art Personality Quiz maps preferences across four aesthetic axes (for example hush versus salon energy, soft atmosphere versus structural line). Scoring is first-party JavaScript. When clarity sits under fifty-eight percent, a single extra question breaks the tie. Results resolve to six original archetypes with essays of several hundred words each. Those essays talk about how someone might walk a museum — which rooms they revisit, which edges they notice — never about destiny, compatibility, or health.
Licensing & provenance
Image files on this build are Met Open Access / CC0. Each file is listed in ASSET-REGISTER.md with museum object ID, source URL, and SHA-256. OG share cards are 1200×675 derivatives of those same CC0 files with a Soleilx caption overlay. Ephemeris and share-card scripts are original code using only public math formulas. Fonts are system stack. No GPL astronomy libraries are bundled.
Advertising posture
Privacy and Terms pages already describe cookies, DART, GDPR, and CCPA concepts for when ads go live. Until the owner finishes AdSense approval, every slot is a visible placeholder with a fake ca-pub token commented out. We will not invent a real publisher ID. Content length on archetype pages is kept substantial so the site is not a thin quiz funnel.
